It's been a long time since I have posted. Just thought I'd share all my two years work on the car. I am grateful to have my fiance Denise, Darren aka Phewes, Jeff Pautler aka Phatlier and Jake. Without them I ll probably have not get car ready on time for JBC show on June 6th. And if it wasnt for Darren I would never own a cavalier. He got me interested in jbody community. FYI, I havent driven car much since the day I bought it. I drove it for 14 days only (temporary permit license) then car ended up in garage for two years and so. Its not easy ya kno. I dont know how it feels to drive a jbody. I have no clue how much I am going to enjoy it you know.
my baby got a big brake kit, air ride kit, crazy engine (forged parts) it was once on the track when Dan Avera used to own it. I was kinda ripped off. I bought her for 5,500, and I found out that oil pump bracket was cracked, timing chaning was loosing, it made a bad metal clicking noise, bad leak from oil pan, leak HM282 transmission (old school GETRAG), and it made several backfires due to wrong timing. it also have a hard time to join gear 1,3, 5.
I am glad I have fixed all of the problems with Jake and Jeff, They helped lots! Thanks once again buddies!!!!!
I had to pull the engine out and rebuilt it. While I do that I painted the engine's bay in red. and I knew I have always wanted candy apple red. I just wasnt sure if I would get the engine to work again after I took them apart so I decided to finish the engine's bay in red and tested the engine. It worked like a charm. then I told myself @!#$ me in the head. I should have sent car to the paint shop without engine at first place. oh well lol at least I l have learned from my mistakes.
I also have a virgin NVG T550 sitting in garage waiting for HM282 to get worn out

Other than that, as bros, talking to you daily based and keep eachother updated and stay motivated on our cars is a big help too. lol, I was over worried about the support after cutted off both sides. I realized its not really necessary. I have only braced the driver side. As for the passenger side it does not have it. these pics above did not show more cut work done with both sides. they were another 2 inches cutted in height. I have tucked the car and turned the wheels around. I could do it with 1/2 turn without any touch with air struts at 0 PSI level.

Darren, Can you please post some pics of my interior work done. I am grateful to sent you some pics. You are my life now!!!!! after my hard drive blew up. it needs a clean environment room to take the disc out. They say its gonna cost 1,800 to save all pics. I should have made a backup every months or something... my loss... fiance is begging me to spend 1,800 to save PICS so she can get wedding prepared. she have spent hours hours hours on the powerpoints and all @!#$..now they r gone..no good

yeah, what can I do? nothing..I have to move on and get it done.. it ll be worth when car is finished.
its a 1998 cavalier... with 160,000 km (I was told the engine has 2,000 km) and its true. when I took it apart. I could tell how new it was. but anyways I was aware that I was ripped off at same time it was worth to have some rare parts like transmission and coilovers RKS pro which dont make anymore. and It also come with big brake kit when I bought it.
