Improved Custom Built Hand-Made Interior

Spring seems to mean upgrades for everyone, so I finally saw the light and got a steering wheel and pedals (rather than finish building the last one). Plus I fixed the rust along the bottom inside edge of the door; ground it down, fiberglassed, bed lined it, painted it, and neatly caulked the seam. Now hopefully someone can buy this!

Steering Wheel and Pedals were color matched to the interior.

I definately enjoy this car. Definately different for a cavy. Great work. Now come do that to mine...or at least fixing the rust part. haha.

I like the centred console. It looks clean, and as someone pointed out, looks like an echo dash (I always liked that style. Just for some reason worked for me.). Pedals are nice, the wheel is better than stock, but not my favorite style (in other words, cool, but not my bag). Audio gear isn't my bag either, but if I were you I'd fill in the gaps a little there. Definitely needs a set of new seats and a new shifter (gen 2 style?) would be a great change. Can't really knock it for all you've done, though.

Gauges look a lil to straight. Maybe shoulda angled them a lil more toward the driver. Very nice work tho.

Those switches are only used on occassion for tuning the stereo system by shutting individual amps off. When they are used the car is parked and I'm typically in the passenger seat while our tuner works his magic anyhow. They are normally covered by a panel that is upholstered in tweed that matches the seats.

That actually looks pretty cool man... I didn't think it would..... I personally wouldn't want that done to my car... but it looks like you did a good job, and it should draw attention if it's ever at a car show.

oh btw.... can we please not have "not my bag" become common slang people.... I know what it means... but it just doesn't sound right LOL.

Thanks guys.

Brown Eye, I used a black piece of left over fleece to cover the windshield. Then I set the camera for the rapid fire 6 in a row function and chose the clearest pics. It was around 7pm so the sun wasn't drowning the pics with too much light.
