yeah it does need a bunch of TLC my parts pile at home is growing

Prothane Control Arm Bushigns
Prothane Tranny Mounts
Prothane Lower engine mount
Drivers Side wheel bearing
2 front fenders
trunk lid
Trunk Filler
Front and rear bumpers

just going to finish the mechanicals then body job not bad for only haveing 500 invested including the swap

Damn that engine and bay are nasty. If you are going to swap you might as well clean it up some.

one question...

why is the vaccum line for the fuel pressure regulator going directly into the intake??? shouldnt it have its own port on the throttle body?

nope eco runs off the intake or a port on the intake manifold. factory it comes from the stock box. different than the 2.4. eco has none or one vacuum port on the throttle body

i Find no need to clean up the engine bay it is not and will never be a show car.. the only reason the swap got done was because i purchased it with a blown engine and read how easy the sway was so i did it. It just the daily driver .

plus all i did was pull out the 2.4 pull out the ecotec and re install the ecotec the entire swap took under 13 hours no time for cleaning i just wanted it done and out of dads body shop so he could have his bay back
