well after getting +20 degree weather(celsius that is, warm, but not hot) for the past day or 2, I woke up to this
and my drive into work( the snow was so wet it kept sticking to the wiper blades so most people were getting out at intersections, I drove past 3 accidents in the 15 minutes it took me to get to work)
what it looked like when I got to work (I drove back and forth a few times so I would not get stuck
we then got about 4 more inches of very wet and heavy snow to make it about a foot of snow in 5 hours.
but by about 6 pm the same day, this is what it looked like, and no I didn't wash my car, it just melted off, it looked really clean, I liked it.
just thought I should share the kind of weather that we canadians deal with (especially in Calgary Alberta)
That was a crazy snow fall. I couldn't believe the amount of snow when I woke up. And then driving down Deerfoot at 4PM it was like a blizzard, just crazy!
And now we are getting double digit weather all weekend?
*laughs at calgary* ........ I must say its been a rough few days up here in edmonton too.... maybe not
.... I was surprised to hear that 23 cms in one day was a record down there... I shouldn't laugh... I know we are due for one last hit of snow... and thats why my winters are still on

oh yaaaa,
at maybe noon, so when we had the most snow,
we ended up putting a set of summer only tires on a guys 01 porsche 911 carrera,
I was disappointed at how easy the tires were to mount,
225/40zr18 up front and 265,35zr18 in rear.
thought it would have been harder, I have another 911 to do next week, maybe no snow then.
wow...its 87 right now in Texas....hell last week we took the boat out to the river and went swimming!

Yeah we got the same thing here in minnesota, the drive to work was fun this morning. Took the wifes bug because it has more clearance than my cav does. Doing 40 then doing 40 completely sideways down the highway is not fun, nor did it get any more fun the 2nd 3rd or 4th time it happenend. You would think I would have slowed down after the first time, but I kept it between the ditches so I figured what the heck. But after 10 years of driving in the minnesota winters it doesn't really phase me anymore.

wow thats @!#$in insane!!! i live in medicine hat....which for the states people is 2.5 hours east from calgary and all it did was rain here, and i'd take the rain anyday over the snow
so..... I guess I shouldn't have spoke to soon/made fun of calgary... local weather warnings for edmonton are now saying we could see 30-50cm's by tomorrow afternoon
Where exactly was that shot taken ? the in car on your way to work. Thats crazy thats a lotta snow! lol
it's almost 70* here in southern MI. Sucks that they're still predicting snow in almost May!

Well that is BS! I don't want to even look at anymore snow for at least another year. I'm so glad to have the snow tires off car and enjoy driving it again. I left the front lip on the car all winter, but I made sure not to push to much snow if it was packed, but I did ok since I took out the wheel wells liners.

that picture was taken in Calgary, Alberta..... that was almost 2 weeks ago.. but pretty much all of Alberta got hit by a blizzard this weekend... up here in Edmonton we went for sunny weather + streets were being cleaned to about 30-40cm's of snow over 2 days.... in those pictures... depending on when they were taken Calgary got a total of 23cm's
In Montreal Quebec we are having a nice and sunny day and it is about + 20°C
