Well as some know I was complaining about a water leak. I cleaned out quite a bit about a few weeks ago after some major snow melted and then about a month or so before that. Well I just cleaned out more from the 2 day rain storm we just had.
Nice puddle huh
Gutted the seats and center console out and sucked most of the water out
Got the carpet out
The insulation is junk now also
Overall I don't think the floor board is that bad I will need to blast it some and probably make sure the bolt locations for the seats are sturdy
Yeah I'm thinking its not the top thats leaking, that water rust stain is coming from the firewall
Now its either the windshield or the cowl but I'm leaning towards cowl area

My cousin's '91 Sunbird would pour water onto her feet when she drove in the rain.
So I'd like to think cowl/firewall for sure.

Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
ouch. that sucks dude. Doesn't look like much damage was done though. That must have been sweet seeing your car full of water when you opened the door.
Go the por15 route, that'll fix it.
Looks like you caught it fairly early at least. Things could've been much worse. Can't wait to see the completed outcome. ^^
i can only wish my burb looks like that wheni pull the 22 year old carpet out of it
Damn! that must suck! but its good time to tidy it up all at once! it needs to be black!
You can get some similar to the lizard skin from any auto parts store with a roller included. It costs me 50 bucks or so, when I had to do this on my old Tracker 4x4.
Good time ot cleaqn up and redo your wiring.
I ran all my power wire down the center of each seat. The power on the drivers side, the rca cables on the passenger side. Make it easier to install the door sills afterwards and looks so much better.
HA! I think its a god sent! Cause without it what was the real chance you would have even looked at the car let alone started workin on it!?!??! Way to NOT let it rot Geeds!

damn that sucks to see.
i found a small pool in the floor board behind the driver's seat. i need to rip it all out once it warms up and figure out the problem. i think its from the DS window not sealing properly.

my vert used to leak from the rubber gasket that meets the windshield to the top. After a good rain storm or even a mild one the seat and floor would be soaked. The gasket is way too expensive to replace so I went to lowes and bought the driveway crack sealer, its soft, black, and stretches and compresses. I poured that into the holes, lined the underside of the gasket (between it and the windshield) and called it a day. Did this all with the top open, let it sit over nite like that and the next morning went to work and put the top up and its been good ever since!
