Get your doors to a body shop asap and they might be able to save them for you. I have been fighting with the same @!#$, but i took mine somewhere early to have them "fix it", its only slowed it down a lot. I am going to take the doors off the car this summer and sand blast that entire seam clean, then use POR 15 to seal the surface and then re-paint it white. It "should" stop it from ever coming back once all the rust is gone. My car is a 99 too, driven in the winter for 6 years in NY like you. These past 4 years, its been garaged.

.... but hop on that problem asap or start hunting for a new door/s.

To me they look like electrical tape.

well, cody im not even sure if they are salvagable the one door has some good rot to it, its tought to reskin a door when theres nothing to reskin it to, its a 97 and just rolled a 100K so not really to sure what i should do, the eyelids are left-over vinyl from the window drop-i tried it and didnt think it looked horrible so i left it on to get some comments on it i got em. i agree with silverZ it sorta does look like electrical tape but its not.
