well 3 years or maybe more ago i installed my system. i was given a few ideas as to where to mount my amp and build an amp rack, and this is the one i ran with.
i built it out of 1/2 MDF and did all the cutting and mounted my amp and EQ to it last week. this week i finished it up by adding the carpet and the only thing left is to add the mounting brackets to secure it in place.
take a look see and let me know what you think.
the amp rack, without its brackets is wedge into place by the sub.

Pretty clean looking! Good job. Fits perfectly.
out of the way, that makes for a more trunk space. good job.
its going to be mounted on rackets that you will bolt up from the front. this will make i removable, which is what i wanted. if i ever need the extra space or need to remove the extra weight for racing, then i can do that.
now i just need to figure out how to get my sub to stay put lol.
im glad you guys like it, i will update when i get my other little project back there done.
