just a random snow pic

its just my mock up, im goin to leave it like this for a week or so, then tighten everything down, and paint the console, just re-do that top peice, trust me my interior isnt finished, still needs a good painting and cleaning, i did a half ass job when I first did it 2 years ago, because i thought i was the "fast and furious", painting everything blue, so now im in the process of just doing it black, so c&c welcome, and ideas?

Not much, but it's not really necessary either, they looked good to begin with! Then again it's easy to build a sleeper with them, though I always wondered how hard it'd be to do a Northstar V8 swap in a 1st or 2nd gen.

hey they look really good, but are they functonal? or do they just slide back and forth between gears? i was thinking of doing the same but also cutting down the shifter.
Thanx

as for functional...they work just like a normal auto knob, in the sense, you push down, and then slide the gear into place, i actaully think its smoother, as far as pushing it down,....yea im also thinking about cutting mine a little shorter...it'd be nice to see some pics of ppl who have?

ooo, so instead of having a button the shift knob is the button.... kind of like how the vw shifter goes in reverse on there manual trans. so then the shifter ataches straight to the white peice ... thanks ill post up some pics of my shortend manual shift know when i get some cash flow to get the knob... thanks

actaully it doesnt attach, it slips over it, so basically it slips over the metal rod, and pushed the white piece down, right now im in the trial and error phase, just trying to get the kinks worked as far as tighening it down, and attaching the boot permanantly,......as far as the knob and boot, idk about your local locations but my pepboys haves that knob and boot for 24$, and the nice thing is the boot screws into the knob, so the boot moves up and down with the knob...might be hard to visualize, but it makes a difference as far as looks
