yes ... but its white isnt it? leather or leather looking was never an option i would assume in a sedan though
odd, considering it does not have power anything(maybe locks, but don't think so), only a very basic tape deck, and that is about it.

lots of wrinkles in the leather...definitely an aftermarket job
the only leather (or leather like) option for the Js came in the convertibles and the cimmaron back in the 80s. this doesnt match the stitching pattern for either the 2nd or 3rd gen verts, and the cimmaron had a bench seat in the front, i believe. so my guess is aftermarket recovering or possibly a swap from another car.
are you looking to buy the car? because 6k for an 02 sedan is quite a bit high.

I just saw a Sunfire GT in the junkyard yesterday (97) with the same seats ( but black). Stitching is exactly the same. Never seen it before, but looks nice.

If it came with leather from the factory i think the door panels would have leather inserts instead of cloth. Did anybody else notice that the right rear door was a diferent shade of paint than the reat of the car?

i dont suppose you got pics or a price did you? cause if they were in good shape you could pull em, clean em, and sell em for a nice profit....especially since they are black and a direct fit.

not to get off topic there a few yellow ls sports around here with black leather seats with a yellow chevy logo in the head rest.
It looks to me to be Katzkin Covers. The Sunfire itself is a BASE MODEL, so Leather wouldn't even make since. Also it was NOT an Option. Someone, maybe even the dealer added the Leather Covers.

This is a Sunfire, not a Toyota Cavalier. These are more than likely Dealer Added as an option from Katzkin or something similar. For this car being a Base Model and the only thing different is the seating surfaces, wouldn't common sense rule out the possibilty of these being added as a MOD from a Toyota Cavalier?
The different color of the door, has to be from a Touch up done improperly. It is different in color from both angles, front/rear.
Probably looks good in person, but the camera picked up on it better than the eye.

not that i have ever heard of. ive seen the front buckets and they were the red speckle type from the 3rd gen Zs and the rears were the same, with the added exception of a fold down armrest.

hmmm i sware i seen it somewhere when i was searching for the mirrors and tails, i wrote down so many part numbers and contacted the gm dealers for the mirrors and tails just to give them a little kick and see them go

the 95 - 99 conv. sunfires (not sure if the cavi got them) got white leather or vinyal, these were only canadian cars i believe.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
I don't think any 3rd gens came from teh factory with leather. I'm guessing there either recovered, or swapped from a grand am, or malibu or something.

they also had a tan vinyl option too. ive never seen black though. but they were available in the US too.

it was an option on all convertibles, although it was technically a leather-like vinyl and not actual leather.
