i got quite a few new things that need to go on the car but what your about to see is only a small fraction of some of the stuff that is going into the car this winter and spring. hope you all enjoy

on with the pics.

I wonder what is in all of these boxes lol

Toyota Cavalier Power Folding Mirrors

Ecotec Cometic MLS Headgasket

Wiseco Forged 8.9:1 standard bore Pistons

ARP Head Studs

Eagle Ecotec H-Beam Rods

Prothane Polyurethane Control Arm Bushings

Team Green LSD Insert for 4t40e

96-99 Toyota Cavalier Taillights

Yank 3000 Stall Convertor for the 4t40e tranny

I wonder what could be in this big ass white box???

Thats right, this is the GM Performance Parts Ecotec Race Head

Intake Side of the GMPP Head (look at how massive those ports are

Up Close and Personal with the intake side ports, These are how a port job should look, so clean and shiney.

Exhaust side of the GMPP Head, Definitely bigger ports than the stock head

Exhaust side ports, also so shiney

Heres the end of the head, notice anything different? yep, you guessed it, no EGR ports

Spark Plug hole that is bored out to accomidate up to a 3/4" reach spark plug

Valvetrain, not sure if it is completely stock or not, maybe you can help me out, but its all so nice and new lol

Here is a pic of valves and the 3 angle valve job that gm does on the head, you can see it a little bit. i also wonder if these valves are stock valves or not

those are all of the pics for now. let me know what you think.

me and pj will be running the same stand alone ems, the spectre ems and i am keeping my numbers goal on the DL for now but you all will find out soon enough.

still gotta get my forged 4340 crank and darton sleeves, gm performance 268 duration cams, and some other stuff as far as the motor goes, but it is coming along very nicely

I would get the comp cams turbo grind, but i think the GM Performance Parts high performance cams will be better suited for my build and the power im aiming for

the comp turbo grind cams helped me achieve full spool 1k rpms sooner and are designed for turbo motors. They are built for an rpm range of 2000-7000 rpms

not to mention my built motor with zero headwork plus cams on 8 psi was faster by a good margin then m,y stock motor with 14 psi

Hmmmmm.

The cams I have no idea, I have the GMPP duel valve springs and stainless steel valves. They look like this:

I would think from comparing the valves the valves are regular steel stock.

The springs I cant see but you can judge, the performance valves are the duel type.

Have you run these cams? Im just wondering who has them and if they have been able to discern gains with them.
