Wish i had HIDs. I am assuming that all went well with putting the blinkers in?

lol well lets say it wasnt fun but yes for the most part it was ok, I really didnt enjoy cutting into my fender just for the simple worry about Fawckin it up but I think now I am gonna tint the fog lights back to orange becaue they dont match anything now lol
Now all you gotta do is get up the courage to crack open the headlights and get them painted. If you can cut up the fenders the headlights are easy!
When are you getting a CF hood? I am hoping to get mine all painted here in the next month or so, still gotta strip all the flat clear off and sand it some more to get though some more of the foggyness. (I don't think thats even a word)
Its gonna be sweet when we both have our hoods painted the same, now we just gotta get Qwik to do it too!
hopefully this weekend but the paint will have to wait til spring, do you think it would be ok to use a cf hood in the winter?
Yeah, I think so. I did last winter for a while. I think the reason most people take them off is because the chances of being in a fender bender go up in winter. I have a heard a few storys that the heat difference on the bottom verses the cold on the top causes them to warp, but those storys are always the friend who knew a guy who had a cousin that had it happen. So I haven't heard anything for sure
I only took mine off because I need to start getting it ready for paint.
So how come you took off the lips and sideskirts?

How is your housign holding up to the heat of the 12K bulbs I'm running 6K and mine get extremely hot.
I got rid of my HIDs when I noticed they suck in the rain and snow. But mine were also tinted with blue..
these lights dont heat up that bad my housings havent got that hot at all, and yes these are 12000k and they have a little bit of purple tinge tot hem and they are amzing in the snow and rain even better in dry weather
