so im just browsing on the internet and i hear a LOUD thud hit the ground outside.1st thing that comes to mind is the basketball goal fell on my car AGAIN!!!!. i run outside and this is what i find.





the wind blew the damn thing down missing my car by inches and my stepdads work van also.

funny thing is that when i got home for some reason i was looking inside the bottom of the goal to see if it had water in it to hold it down.

it was a close call. i would of sh1t my pants if it fell on the car thank fully it did hit again.

ps. if your wondering why i keep saying it hit AGAIN , well last year the goal fell on my hood leaving 3 huge gouges on it. obviously i got it fixed but it would have been worse . but all is good

I used silica sand when I had mine.

Worked out nicely when I got rid of it. Just tipped it over and dumped it out.

If it fell and hit ur car once before, why would u park it in front of it again!?!?!

damn....got lucky on that one thats for sure. Glad to hear it missed the car.

But after the first time you should have cemented that thing in place so it wouldn't happen again. I'd hate to hear another post about it hitting the car again, that would just suck!

If you're trying to keep it so that you can drain it for the Winter, but water keeps leaking/evaporating, maybe you could use sand instead.
