Finally Got My Wing Fixed (56k maybe)
Sunday, November 04, 2007 3:23 PM
I finally got my butt in gear a couple weeks ago and decided to get my wing fiberglassed back together before winter. It has been sitting in my closet since late winter/early spring when some vandals decided to rip the top wing layer off and take one of the whole sides with it. When I decided to fix it, I decided not to put the top layer back on which I think looks better. Since this was only limited production (3 others that I know of) I decided to fix it instead of garbage it b/c it's unique.

If some of you dont remember what happened to the wing I added in some pictures of the wrecked wing. I have never fiberglassed before and it turned out pretty damm good if I do say so myself. I just got it back from paint late last week. Sorry there are no in progress pictures. I didnt have my camera with me to take any.

I know the car isnt looking to good. Got the winter rims on and my front valance off. But she's all ready for winter.

Anyway on with the pictures. questions/comments welcome.

Pictures taken today.

Regards,

Shoulda let it die.

I think it goespretty good with the kit. There is nothing uglier IMO than a sunfire back end without a spolier.

Thanks for the comments. I know the pictures dont do it justice, I think it is one of those things that you have to see in person. It probably doesnt look as good b/c I dont have my summer wheels on and I got my front valance off for winter, but I think it makes my rear look pretty good.
