You guys call those beaters? Where's the rust? Beaters are '91 Ford festivas with doors half eaten by the elements. Beaters are chevettes and acadians. Beaters are any dodge, regardless of condition. Beaters have cracked hub caps and things that just don't bloody work.
That said, I don't have any pics of my beater...

the wrx sees snow, salt, dirt roads... i don't baby it, i beat on it.
p.s. i had a festiva at one point... it didn't pass inspection due to rust and had to be junked.

i think that some people have a different definition of "beater". where i come from a beater is a car that you don't care about, has some rust, dents and no power.

i orignally bought my cavalier to drive too... and i have for 4 years straight. but after investing enough money in it and dealing with idiots in 4wd's that think they are invincible in snow, i figured it was time to get something that would be fully covered by insurance if it's taken out... hence the awd that i own now, and the awd wagon i had before this...
one more thing, do you have to deal with snow in your ss?

I can respect that. I feel silly having a beater sometimes cuz i think about how much I want to drive the white cav or the mr2 but Im like na... easier to take the beater.
Unfortunatly this is my beater..... It sucks but I cannot afford 2 cars.
