3100 swap, done in a weekend

The 2.2 harness is still in there. Over time i'm gonna pick at it and remove what i don't use.

The lower mount which was made from a choped up 2.2 mount welded to the 3100 mount. I bottomed out with it 800' from my house on the first ride out which is why it's a little shiny, and bent.

And look what works :bluebiggr

Gotta thank Mars for putting in the hours he did to help me out with this. The car drives great and feel pretty stock untill i push on the right pedal. I also love the new sound, nothin beats the v6 rumble.

Very impressive to say the least, what all else did you need to modify/swap? I'm very curious about this, but major props on the install, and unbelievable that you got it done and on the road in one weekend.

Besides a V-8 rumble.

Looks nice, always fun to have more power.

Thanks for the comments. The biggest issues were the exhaust and that lower torque mount. Mars did an awesome job on the down pipe with some mandrel bent tubing and my stock flex pipe. The torque mount was pretty much chop and weld it up. The weiring harness was taken apart and riped out all un-nessesary wires then i loomed it all back together before the install.

Here's a vid of us starting it on the floor to make sure the harness worked after we cut it up.
