My girlfriend decided that she "wants to paint my car like all the ones on 'that site' you always go on!"
So I said sure no problem, I will buy the stuff and you go nuts.
Here is the result:
Not the best pics, I was in a bit of a rush to get to class lol if you want to see some more let me know and I will post more for sure.
Comments are appreciated! Suggestions for what to do next would also be very helpful! Thanks guys.
the paint itself looks good but you need to do more than just a few pieces here and there. accenting the interior like that doesnt always flow or look as good as if you did the whole interior.

I'll have to agree with that!
Don't go crazy doing all the little stuff that's easy access and leave the rest untouched...take your time and work towards a goal.
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
That looks like the EXACT color I want to do. What brand is it? and name of the color?
strippedcav and bluedeuce - i agree...this is NOT the final product i promise you both...it was essentially a trial we wanted to see how time-consuming it was and how difficult it would be for us, so now that we know how to get it done properly it's just a matter of what pieces to do next...can u make any suggestions?
jack030 - i got mine from canadian tire...i got the sandpaper, primer, paint and clear coat all in the same aisle lol...the colour is like medium blue or something like that...the colour above is not the exact colour on the can the can's is a tad bit darker...i will check and see if i have the bottle left...i kno it is Dupli-Colour though for sure
Very nice. Makes me want to do that too! I'm going to go look for a FAQ to break apart the dash to get at all the pieces.
