That is one outta another 98Z24 without power windows.
Its the same style as my other one i had but i have power windows, so i hid the switch for time being. But both consoles i have the e brake handle is the same.

Overall I think it's a dang sweet ride!!
But, if I were to address a few things...
1. Paint the center console to match
2. Get some rear disc brakes
3. New carpet for the interior.
But those things are nothing really...the car itself is amazing!!! Love it!!

maybe I've never paid attention or maybe its because all of the cavs I see regularly are 04's but I've never seen the parking brake light like that.... I've only seen where parking brake pokes through the consil itself and there is the fabric leather/vinal boot that goes form the consil right up the handle itself
ryan, all my consoles ive had were like that, my 97z, my 98z and my 95 base parts car. so im thinking its just a 95-99 thing. i think the 00+ got the handle up through the console like you were desribing.
pretty neat ride!! love the custom gauge mounts in the dash pad.
thats a first on the e-brake handle for me as well...
car looks great man. very very nice interior too. and about the console thing, thats in all the 95-99's. mine is the exactly the same,its not connected to the console. the 00+ models were the ones that had the ebrake actually go through the console itself.
I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!

and same as the rest, i would paint the center console, also the door panels would be nice..
That carpet comes clean great, and i forgot the mats to put in.
Also i have a steering wheel and momo hub for 2 yrs just keep forgetting about it.
overall, i can say good job on the work. the car is to your taste, all the mods look done right and im in no position to use my own personal taste to judge your car... except i cant let go of how much i hate that front bumper on any car
nice work on everything, front to back, inside and out, none the less.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I think a new front bumper, steering wheel, and a good vacuum job and this car would be totally off the hook. It is already nice to look at, but the front bumper is a bit dated and just doesn't look that good in green to me.
I'm loving the dash though, that looks perfect I think carrying that on to the center console would look hot and really tie the interior together. Maybe also one of those Grant steering wheels with the silver painted inserts too. Crappy pic alert:
