Turns out the cat convertor eats up a lot of the sound.
That and if you're nmot running a header.
Still, good first steps.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Looks good, where did you find your parts at? im looking at $220 for 2.5" and everything welded if i buy it all. so let me know. looks good.
dont know why you didnt get mandrel bent piping installed if you were gonna do a custom setup

performancepeddler or greyhoundperformance on eBay are wholesalers of Magnaflow with some good prices. I've dealt with peddler in the past on a Volkswagen exhaust and Greyhound has superior customer service on the phone, let me switch out resonators and she didn't charge me extra for it.
PS Nice looking car, I love the Extreme kits minus the side skirts.

No shop in the general area has a Mandrel bender, thats why exhausts aren't prominent in town. One shop did for two weeks but the owner sold the business and the bender went with it.
Yeah thats who i have it bookmarked at too on ebay. Im looking to get all mine welded and mandrel bent though, and im going all stainless when i get it done. looks good though.
and the difference in crush bend, expaned end, and mandrel is all minimal...
I know the butt dyno is no definite way of judging, but the car definately picks up hills better now. That or it's just my foot getting heavier

Mandrel is only worth the cost if your throwing down 400+ whp....
Custom tubes inc also offers all exhaust sizes in mandrel for cavaliers/sunfires for extremely low prices, I paid for my cat back piping 160 shipped

Don't be retarded.
And to the OP, I suggest you stop free revving your car that high...
" To study and not think is a waste. To think and not study is dangerous. "
Dave, I know. It hasn't been that high for sometime. Rarely sees itself above 3 on the freeway, shifts being at 2.1 in the city. Friend blew his head gasket constantly running his Integra in the higher rpms.
Only thing is i would have tucked the muffler up under the rest of the bumper, where the stock muffler goes, and then ran some piping down for the tip.
Nice install, I would have gone with larger diameter though so you aren't re-doing it down the road.

Vincent, the tip was already welded on from the factory. I like it atleast.
BlackEco - I sorta wish I went bigger but hey, it didn't come out sounding like a bee and this was my first one. I think I did good for my first time out.

unless you plan to go boost. 2.25 is plenty big enough. thats why im going 2.5... boost next year i hope.
not feeling the crush bent piping, but lovn the muff.
you will still be ok with that exhaust if you dont plan to go huge PSI, you SHOULD have 2.5 but i think youll be fine.
ok so i dont want to be negative so let me at least say it looks pretty good
if you are looking for performance, you really are not going to get much with a cat-back system, if you really want to get some exhaust flowing think of picking up a header and a high flow cat

When I had to quiet down my exhaust the resonator made it quieter and took care of the rasp.
I have a similar set up but i have a 31" thrush resonator magnaflow high flow cat along with the street series muffler like you. it def helps out in the high end, but with the high flow cat it is louder but not raspy at all. i had the tip cut off the muffler and tucked it under the muffler and had them weld on a turn down tip.

Hmmm.... that muffler and resonator look very familiar...
Betcha is sounds really good, i love mine!
Sounds good for a performance muffler on a 4cyl.
Also I really recommend for to tie down your parking brake cable, the pics shows it is close enough to melt them.

That is compression bending.
