My white Z, from beginning to now. 56k=certain death

Im bored, so here are pics of what has become to be known as "The Freak", from when I got it till now.
Got it looking like this..

With this under the hood

Atleast the interior looked good, for the most part atleast.

But no worries, I had this hanging around.

I thendid this, reason being, I wanted to swap in a 2002 Getrag tranny, and I needed all the room to do the neccesary modifications.

Bring out the grinder

First test fit/tac weld for the rear mount.

The neccesary welding being done

And she's in

Almost there.

Getrag Shifter and cables installed. Notice all the shavings on the floor, thats the old igintion cylinder!

Then THIS??? I had to replace the steering column before I could start it.

She's alive, this is just after I started it for the first time.

After the swap was done, it looked like this for a couple days before I put my winters on.

I then came out from work one day, and found this...

It then sat like this for a few months.

WTF????

Ahh, thats better.

Bodywork begins.

Then the weekend bodywork/paint marathon hit.

And Viola, she's done...

And now, the reason why she is called The Freak, this is a 4th gear pull at 3/4 throttle, car is bone stock, no intake, stock exhaust...

PS-David, you were wondering how to add a little more flare to your car, I think this style of 2 tone would look amazing on your car.

Factory freak, or in this case, frankenstein freak! lol
The shifter is a stock getrag shifter, came in all 5 speeds from 2000 and up.
Thanx for the comments everyone, I just got my exhaust from the engine back today, HopefullyI will get it installed soon. Taking it to the track in October aswell, just to see what it runs.
The tail lights would look good on there, might try it with my spare set.
