The mad rush to get project gxp to ohio bash!
Monday, July 02, 2007 1:09 PM
Well because of a recent break-in (http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=59&i=8340&t=8340) I have a lot of work ahead of me to make sure the car is ready for the Bash.
Here's the list:
1. Get the rear windows replaced (Both rear quarters and rear windshield, Got scratched)
2. Get windows tinted
3. New head unit (Pioneer AVIC-N3)

4. New Alarm (Autopage RS-1000 O.L.E.D.)

5. Rewire the positive and ground to the battery

It should take some time considering that the insurance company takes forever, and that I don't have much time off now that I work days, nights and weekends.

no offense but your project doesn't even remotely resemble the GXP concept

I was thinking the same thing.

yea, i've been over that before with a lot of people. It was cheaper to buy the streetfire kit then to get the stock bumpers and stuff, and it kinda moved past what I wanted it to be. Hopefully sometime I can take it to the GXP look but I need to find the right stuff first. I would like to get excesives front but i can't find it.

There is more interior stuff I have to fix, but I was saying that with all the work I have to do and delays from the insurance company and shipping for stuff its going to be a stretch. I forgot to mention that there are some dents and fitment issues with the rear bumper.

Interior isn't bad I did it in several hours last winter, took EVERYTHING out and cleaned wires and stuff up, then sprayed my floor with bed liner.

Well started working on the car today since the insurance company finally decided to show up, The car is up on dollys so I can push it around the garage to get some nice room to work. I plan on rewiring a lot to clean up the interior and maybe some other things if time is permitting. Got the inside cleaned up, pulled the old Autopage system, Pulled the original positive and ground wires. here's the pics from today.
