Well im currently half way through my 5 month suspension on my license....which means i can tear the car down and work on it and stuff and save money not driving around. Im purchasing a sunfire gt with a 2.4 auto....its a parts car thats been sittin in a field for a couple years. Its missing wheels, the radiator, and maybe the computer. but the the rest is there, and the motor only has 60k on it. Im gonna pull the motor and overhaul it and drop it in mine. but so far ive been buying a few things for what i have now....









And what my car looks like after paint cleaning it, and waxing it all up and stuff....










and my dirty interior, im in the process of getting rid of some of the red....

Wow, Sedans look VERY nice with the z24 package! Car looks very nice! I love the the look of our paint when all waxed up and shiney! Beautiful!

i dont believe those are coupe sides, i think they are the skirts off of a 4 door 00+ z

not totally sure though, i am 99% sure they arent from a coupe because they are longer

Nope, Navycav3 is right. They are from a 95-99 z24 coupe. The side skirts are the same length for both the sedans and the coupes. The only thing making some of the aftermarket coupe side skirts not work on the sedans is the fact that they go above the door line on the sedans so they would not allow the rear door to open, where as the coupes obviously do not have the rear door so it doesnt matter.

but yeah... i always assumed the sedan was longer through the middle as well, these proves the fact that the coupes and the sedans are exact same length. also, the 00+ z24's has different side skirts anyways... they are more like the 03-05 ls sports and the 95-99 z24 verts. (straight and sqaurey looking)

Did the B&M shift really help to improve the transmission?

thanks guys.....the gauge will eventually find a home with some other gauges on a 3 pod up on the pillar, i just got that to monitor an electrical problem i had for a bit. quite a few of the parts painted red will be sprayed in flat black, and possibly a clear coat over them. Tomorrow im going to be buying the supplies to redo my wheels graphite....i cant wait to see how they look then.

Love the sedan. I just picked up a '99 with 2.4. I have a Z24 body kit to put on it. My question, how much work to hook up the fog lights. Is the wiring there or did you have to do it?

Real nice ride man. I'm really interested in your electronic shift improver. Do you like it? Also, I went to B&M's site to find it but only see them for rear wheel drive! Did you have to mod it somehow? I got a 2004 cav with 2.2 eco so not sure if it will work anyway, but would appreciate any info you may have.

i forgot what model number it is, but there's a post somewhere on the site that tells all about how to hook it up and stuff. I had a problem with it and it started to throw codes, but thats cause i just slapped it on there, and i think i put it on the wrong red wire.

The car looks great! I would say that you might want to look into some new lugs first before redoing the wheels. I'm sure you are tryin' to stay with the 95-99 look, but I think 00-02 tails and a 01-02 LS spoiler would look so much better. Great car even if you just leave it like that.
