Updated Engine bay pic (new mod)

Well got my new mod for the engine bay a week or so ago. Got the engine bay some what cleaned up ( still very dirty), but here is a picture.

Are the strut mount/tower covers OEM off of another GM vehicle?

Yes actually (surprised someone noticed them). YOu will never guess what car??????? A J-Body. There is actually 2 types. The ones in that picture and a flat kind. I think it is a nice touch. Thanks to BoneDaddy for showing us that years ago!!

god that guy does amazing work. i wanted him to do me up one just like that-only black with polished ribs/lettering. just havnt had the money to put twords it, maybe someday.

looks awesome john. keep up the good work.

i tried using some beretta tower caps but they always came loose... pretty neat find man!

It is not real carbon fiber. That part was made in part by GM. I also have the part by the wiper blades as well. Last I knew I was the only one with a complete set. Last I knew they never came out with them to sell.

Why would I want a charger when I can beat most GM charged 2.4's??? Mine actually is not clean at all. I wipe some things off with a rage before taken the pictures, but it really need a good cleaning.

Normally what I do is fill my wash bucket with normal car soap and take a old wash rag and wash the complete engine bay. At most I might pre-soak the engine bay with a degreaser ifit needs it. Once the bay is washed I dry it off (if you have a air hose do that).

Yeah the guy does great work. He will be doing another one for me for the Reaper. Try finding the caps on first gen cavs.
