i dunno why i did this but i did and i love it haha. Took alot of work to complete it but i think its worth it and i dont think anyone else has done this before.
On to the pictures.

i had to flaten that area of the quater panel and weld in some sheet metal to close off the outside from the inside between the wheel well and quater panel. I know im missin a screw too lol i forgot to put it in. I'm primerin her Next week and paint the next, cant wait. What doe you guys think?

What was the point of moving it only a few inches?

That could look cool when its done. If you're going for a smooth look, then the stock gas door interrupts the smoothness of the side (my one regret on my car). That location you picked out will kind of hide itself in the reflections when you first look at the car, and I think its that subtlety of modding something without the intent to make it flashy that makes me likes this. Good work, and I look forward to seeing it painted.

props on the work but like flip said it looks way out of place. it would of looked so much better if you just left it where it was and added the sparco gas lid

I think it looks great. Like John P. said it's one of those subtle changes that people have to think "okay what changed here".

Personally I would have recessed it just a little to give it a more flush mount look but that's just me.

It'd look really sweet with a widebody....hmmm

yeah even though i prefer to hide the door altogether if your not going to hide it at least you moved it up wich i kinda like, kinda reminds of the older racing type car that have the high mounted gas doors. and it shows that you did more custom work then just making a new fuel door at the stock location.

Someone should relocate it onto the C pillar behind the 1/4 window

thanks guys. yea i think its another one of those either you like it or hate it things. Its def. different and thats what i was goin for. Paint should be done either end of this comin week or 2 weeks from now. i wanted to make it flush but it just wasn't in the time frame i have to complete it and it would take alot longer to complete it.
