What do you think of these wheels?

This isnt my car, but its the same car as I have. Its a chop done by Navel (Evan Bare).

I have the same wheels on my car now, they are gloss black and the lip is polished. I was thinking since theyre scratched im going to refurface them, and paint them.

how does this look?

C&C please

I like black wheels with a lip, otherwise they just get lost in the tires.

I dinno, I kinda like the look.

Possibly to prevent it from appearing that way, maybe a gloss finish?

If you are painting them all black leave the polished lip. If you want to paint everything including the lip go for gunmetal. Just my .02

Has anyone done any rim painting that comes close to gunmetal? Im just looking to go to an autoparts store or somewhere local that I can pick something up. I dont mind if the coating wont last that long, I really just want it to get me through the summer, and I will eventually get new wheels and the ones on the car are going to become winter wheels.

Im thinking Graphite is close to gunmetal, or am i way off?

Any specific brands that I should use? And what to cover it with as a clear coating?

thanks!
