Goderich, in South-Western Ontario, Canada. Directly on the shore of lake Huron, which usually makes these things more interesting.

I used my work camera for the above, which is an old Canon PowerShot A75. My home camera is a similar and even older A60. My strategy is to take several of the same shots -- especially when the lighting isn't good or when I choose not to use the flash. I pick the least blurry, and tweak it in Photoshop. I usually apply the "sharpen" filter once to clear it right up.

I woke up this morning to about 1.5cm of snow, the sun is out and shining right now, and has melted it all away, except for in the shade. I live in Ottawa, Ont.
It looks the same out here in Jersey woke up to snow hopefully it stops before I go on my plane lol.
I live in central Wisconsin, and we have the same thing...ugh! Global warming my ass!
