We used a 07 Silverado 2500 HD. It was like a bad head wind going down the road at most.
That things awesome! Hawaiian Orchid and all.
My buddy Brandon (Cavfan1) has an identical '95.
I wish my 95Z was 5-speed, cause I would love to be able to chip mine. I hope you guys get everything in with no problems. Let me know if you guys need an exhaust cam to out in there...
Every cavalier I've ever seen with the door panels off has that rusty ass bracket...I'm almost convinced it came like that from the factory
Give that 2.4 some lovin, could only be better if it were a convertible purple monster.

101000 miles. Timing chain tensioner is fawked. so we are working on it to see if we can get er running with the motor in the car.... OR we have another motor that can go in
I need to hid when the camera comes out....... I'm always doing something stupid!!!!
anyway, its not in that bad a shape...... the interior is comming out, and '02 LS Sport/Z24 interior is going in (seats and carpet at least), no real exterior rust, no major dents/damage (other then the front bumper, and the fact the trunk doesnt close all the way).......
A 'used' but good chain/gear/tensioner assembly is going in on Wed, just so I can crank it over and see what kind of compression it has..... If thats good, its getting a few new parts here and there (ho manifolds, black Z wheels
) and then its on to my next project......
The only 'mods' it came with are the speakers shown above, a K&N OEM Replacement filter, and a purple painted trim piece around the trunk release lever........ oh, and a few Z24 badges, like the old school one on the dash, and a 00+ one on the trunk lid.
