Well i had a problem with rubbing with my old tires on my 17's whice were 245's. And i knew that was to wide when i got em, but my car wasn't lowered at the time. so i was just being cautious this time around.

I kind of wish I would have gotten those instead of the KDWS (non directional version). Nice purchase though, I believe you will like them ALOT.

Edit: WhiteCavvy, if he got them used they wouldn't still have the sticker on the tread, unless they were used for a couple miles.. LOL

if you go by wild weasil's tire calculator the 215/40/18's are actually closer to the stock diameters than the 225's.the majority of people on this site choose the 225,because its a little meatier of a tire. i have 215/40's on my car also.and i love em. 225's or 215
you cant go wrong.

god i love those tires i wish i would have bought a set

Nice but I would have gone wider....

225/40 would have been a bit better, especially for protecting the wheel edges from mild curb rash. Should look good on the car though

225 would have been better, but 215 will work. nice pick up over all.

What happened to the Chromies?

And actually the 215's are a decent tread with, in my opinion.

If they wern't so EXPENSIVE I would have gotten another set. I had 225/35/19 KDW's and when I got my air I switched to 215/35 Nitto NeoGen. I love the Neo Gen, but they seem to wear out faster. I still have 3 of my KDW's in the Shed, They were on the car for a while and still the tread looks VERY good, the sidewalls were scuffed from the fenders but the tread is fine. They are a NICE QUIET, Smooth Riding, Greatr Traction Tire. Can't say enough good things about the BFG KDW's! They rock for Looks and Performance.

GANGSTA!!

I have a set on my black z24. I like them. They seem to react well to being heated up and lowering the tire pressure. It is night and day difference as far as traction is concerned.
