BONDO, bahahahaha. Let me know how thats working for you in a couple months.
its not all bondo its been glued and there is a reinforcement strip in the bondo then i primed the bondo so it doesn't suck up moisture and crack
thx its the first time i have ever used bondo or done body work all together ...i think it has turned out good for a first time project on body work
im doing my first try at body work also (rust hole, big rust hole) and not even i would have used bondo over a tear like that. at least glass it. (and no ive never used glass either) anything worth doing is worth doing right....
Looks like it turned out nice. As long as you used some reinforcment strip with the filler than you should be fine, unless you hit a curb or something. I do body work at a dealership so I get to do this kind of stuff every day. Not saying I'm great at it, but with some practice and some time, I've noticed it is alot easier.
fiberglass won;t stick to that type of plastic i looked into it ...it will stick but eventually it will started to seperate from the plastic i used bondo and a reinformant strip in the bondo right on the cracked area so it won't come loose again ...the kit i got was called a bumper repair kit so i think it should work anyway thx for the comments
where the area was cracked did you drill a hole at the end of the crack? I hope so because if you didnt the crack will possibly keep spreading. Just a heads up, other wise I would say it looks like you did a hell of a job from what the pics show.

Just hit me up in a couple months for some tips to repair your cracking bondo where your "Glue" and "Reinforcement strips" didnt hold up.
i never said the it won't split again but it was a bumper repair kit i don't understand why they would sell it if there product didn't work.... eventually down the road i am planning on painting the car so if it splits i will have the body shop repair it again
its his first time doing it as he stated, it came out great for a first time, and he has a plan in place if it happens to split again. Why keep bothering him about it?
looks good
Go Premium, it builds character!

b/c they are greedy and there are plenty of suckers out there willing to fall for this.
Next time, use Fuzor or 3M plastic panel repair products
So much @!#$ty attempts at bodywork on this site it scares me.
Love the Z24 bumper, but I doubt that repair will last.
its all good if it doesn't last i don't mind redoing it ...money was tight right now an i wanted it on so i used the bumper repair kit i couldn;t find the 3M stuff anyway i don't know where to buy it ...and body shops would prolly charge alot for there products
Contact
FUSOR. You aren't likely to find this kind of stuff at Walmart or Home Depot.
so an update on the repair hasn't started to come apart yet so cross my fingers hope it stays
looks good, hope it holds up a long time for you!!!
