I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'
I will be building up the entire motor but not right away. I have a spare engine block that I will hopefully be getting soon thanks to PJ that will be built before putting it in my car. I'm looking at titanium valves, lightened springs, forged pistons, better rings, possibly new crankshaft and bearings, lifters, etc. With the turbo kit, I will be putting in a turbo cam and ported head until we do the whole motor swap. Im hoping to build a 13 second OHV.
I will probably be running 4 psi daily driving and I'm looking to do about 10 psi at the track. Once the motor is built I'm looking for more, but until then, that is my plan because id prefer not to really stress the engine until I have the other block ready to be dropped in. (And I'm still debating on whether 10 psi will be pushing it too much).

Let me know if you want to split V8 sets. I'm going to be building a 2200 head pretty soon here. I already have Ti valves/retainers and some springs that should work, machining the head will be the hardest.

Thats going to be a pretty shweet setup. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers you put down. A 13 sec ohv would be the own.

i got it off of ebay, just kept my eye out for one with the wastegate flange already welded on

so what about everyone who calls their car cavfires? because of a minor swap of some sunfire or cavalier parts onto the original. they don't get flamed for it, and nor do i have a problem with it. and if you do, then keep your mouth shut. because im not sitting here complaining about your car, or anything remotely like that.
