Dyno sheet
Wednesday, February 14, 2007 11:29 AM

This was @ 5.5 PSI tuned only by the A'PEXi SAFC NEO

I don't have a boost controller, so it's just off the Tial small green wastegate spring rated at 7.25 PSI. My car only dyno'd @ 5.5 PSI because of the pressure loss from the intercooler piping.

The last dyno sheet has a before & after I got the A'PEXi SAFC NEO installed.

not to bad I guess....... I would run the boost signal for the wastegate from your intake manifold...... that way you get the full 7psi.......

What was your peak Trq? looks like 260 on that first sheet.

Here is a pic of my engine bay minus the strut bar. Also the fuse box is sitting like that because the intercooler piping is in the way.

The dyno #'s are on 94 octane pump gas.

Another thing, on J Tuners website, the results from the dyno sheet for their OHV turbo kit on 4.6 PSI, well that was my car.

I am not a big fan of turboing a 2200. But I must say that I am impressed both by the dyno #s and clean engine bay. My 2.4 with a all stock moter except turbo kit and 2.5 inch exhaust dynoed at 211 whp. So that sounds pretty good to me. I really like the look of your engine bay, very clean.

Yeah, tis Owen.

We'll see how nuts the car will be in a month or so... hopin to make 350-400whp for now, then we'll turn it up again when I get bored.

Guess you're keepin the car now?

nice numbers!! Can you verify the torque numbers for us? Also it looks like your Air/Fuel numbers were getting in the high 10's? Is that correct? Looks like with something like HPT and fine tuning more power could be made. great job!!

Owen,

Still undecided whether I'm keeping it or selling it

John,

If you look at the 1st dyno sheet it tells you the Horsepower & Torque curve so I think it is verified. As for Air/Fuel ratio goes the curve in the 10's (red line) is the before & the after curve is in the 11's (blue Line) just to be on the safe side.

wow man, very nice numbers and setup... im saying patriot head and TTR upper mount and yull be golden. (obviously if you already have a ported head than no) but im saying u should get it. theres a group buy going on right now to.

My bottom end is bone stock, along with the head. That's why I'm keeping the boost low until it's built, if I decide to keep her.

Wow, thats an inspiration for us 2.2ohv owners. I think I may just be leaning towards turbo instead of an NA Eco setup. Atleast the turbo will be cheaper.

turbo cheaper than an eco swap? what kinda crack u smokin? You can nab all the parts for about $1000, and then another $1000 if you gotta pay someone todo the install.

I remember's tony's kit wasnt cheap, neither was the install as it needed a fair bit of tweaking.

I could have told you it was a 23200 from just lookin at the pic......so who made the header and piping for you? hopefully with the tax return I will at least have enough to get the motor done and get hpt. if the plumbing is cheap I might get that done and maybe the turbo sometime this year
