Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
I'm not too sure that he is thinking about lowering it at all. Where we live, to lower that car would be suicide for that kit. He might as well get a second job to finance a new kit every couple months.
Looks good though---can't wait to see it painted. I wish I could have made it up, but like I told you--I was busy with the wifey (she's a little better looking than you anyway)
if alias was a good friend he woulda talked you out of that body kit.
j/k
looks pretty good
i think u should mold in the lines of the kit to the bumpers.. its not hard and would look so much better
Just test fitting it, or what? Don't see the point of tossing on an unpainted bodykit in the middle of winter so I'd hope so
.
My buddy's lowered on the Razzi kit, and it sits low, but he daily drives it without an issue. I don't wanna hear this "not where we live" crap either, this is Michigan.

yes and no, it was a test fit but not really, we wanted it on for good, and it's been in my basement for months. The fit on this kit was ridiculously great. The front is soo snug it's not even funny, and we didn't even use any double sided tape. Plus i wanted it on to get my dual exhaust done which would be ideal for the guy doing the work to have something to follow in the rear bumper. It will be have paint on it in a few weeks. Lowering is a possibility but i'm just unsure about it.
Now i need freakin fog lights! ANYONE!!! lol
yeah my front is 3.5" off the ground, and sides are 2.5 off the ground. its low but thats how i daily drive it in the warm weather.
car looks good man. that was fun. its not everyday that someone lets me hack up their car. have you scraped on anything yet?
and i almost died on the way home from your house. those hills in the snow are not fun.
dang man, glad you got home all good...no scrapping yet, kind of gets me excited to possibly lower the car now! Even with a prokit drop i'd be at 4.5-5.5 clearance still, but still paying almost $600-650 for brand new struts/springs i might as well get tein basics then i can go real low for shows and just for fun sometimes. Thanks for helping tho!
Can't wait to pictures when it is all done. I like the razzi front and rear, but my sides are so close to the ground in front of the rear tire. My car is stock height too. I want different sides.
2004 Cavalier. Razzi. (Sold)
1998 Corvette. Some mods.
1992 Typhoon. Lots of mods.
1994 Civic VX 44MPG
I would have WASHED the bumpers COMPLETELY so not to SCRATCH the paint. esp since you say you did not use any tape. Tiny vibrations between the bumper and the covers will scratch the paint. But whatever, it is already on.
The Import Fighter sides are going to go VERY well with those sides and rear!! Can't waite to see it!!
im glad i didnt get that body kit... the front is just bad looking IMO
also, u shoujld think about getting rid of the CF bezel on the trunklid... just looks not right on our color cars...... shaved FTMFW!
15.1@90.34mph
to each their own, this is MY car and i like it, i was thinking of getting a 00-02 trunk and doing away with the bezel, but i actually think it looks good on the color orange. Possibly getting a CF hood anyways which will compliment the bezel even more. Thanks for all the comments guys, keep em coming
I like the front and rear but wish it was a replacement instead of an overlay. and the razzi sides dont really match any way. so ive been looking into some other sides as well. plus my sides are all scraped, cracked and what not from being too low. and i like the cf bezel. looks way better than the red tail panel. And like he said, with a cf hood its going to look good. thats my plan eventually too.
and i do have different tails too for the inners once i get them on, thats what i got to just put that panel on. its all i had.
