its got a bit of 50's style to it the guy that painted it is about 70 yrs old so he liked the old style like how it comes so close to the wheel wells and stuff

The only think I know I don't like is the mesh up front....
The rest im undecided on..I mean I love black and red paint schemes... but something is odd.
I want to say it would look better without these
But then again they seem to flow so well with the paint job...
Who knows, im hung over and dont know what im talking about...
Also did you paint that over factory red?
I'm kinda iffy on it - I don't hate it. I think it will grow on me. Props on not making it a cookie cutter Cav
actually the whole car got redone includn new sunroof but its the flame red factory color but all fresh paint.

haha thanks it will have air ride and a mild body kit by fall but undecided on doors yet i might go suicide on the driver door only

I'm also not sure if it is exactly my style but i love the origionality and the quality looks to be top notch! nice clean cav
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
thanks to all so far and any thoughts on bodykits would be helpful too
<img src="http://www.j-body.org/registry/rockincavi86/personal_pic.jpg">
and ideas on tail lights too
To sum it up to me it looks like you painted on a widebody kit almost... Personally I don't like it but that's just my taste - I go for a cleaner look.
Enjoy the ride man!

That looks pretty good. Not something I would do but I like that alot. Great job on the design
I think the rear end would look sooo much better with toyo tails
Go Premium, it builds character!

the paint looks really good quality. there are only 2 things i dont like, the mesh in the z24 filler panel location, it would look so hot with the filler panel peice there. and the decals on teh 1/4 panel windows. other then that i dont really have a problem with it. rims are hot, paint is definatly different and somehow u seemed to pull it off pretty well lol. as for the tails, id put a couple layers of VHT Niteshades, blend em into the black really nice. By the paint quality or ur paint i think u could get em lookin good once u do em, wetsand em and get em cleared after u niteshade em and theyll look hot.
also kinda curious on how the back looks, i see how it goes down on the trunk, wondering if the back looks good compared to the rest of it. and if ur gonna cut the exhaust cutout in the bumper u should make it fit up closer to it maybe push it in a lil so it only sticks out just a tad almost flush with the rear bumper.
i like what you did with the rear bumper
new tint on the rear window and lose the pinspriping for just a single line and it will look 1000 times better
Not my taste but I do like it. As stated nice way to be different. It is surprising how it does not have a kit, but you sort of think it does.

i actually think it looks pretty good. i like the stock z kit, but if you go with somethin else look at the buddy club 2. as for tails i think tinted stock tails would look perfect

my personal favorite bodykit is the buddy club 2.. it fits the cavalier sooo well, and also i think that the jdm black tail lights would look very clean!
pain looks wonderfull, not crazy about the design but it looks as smooth as glass. its different and thats great, more i look more i like
SOLD....
to me it looks like you couldent afford a body kit or widebody so you just painted your car to look like you had one, just my opinion, props for being different.
