Little Custom Project

I got rid of all my cf gauges and a piller and got a cobalt series volts gauge and mounted it in the dash :0 I know its been done but I like the location

Now for the Problems LOL...
Ive got a good ground

I think ive got a good 12v location
Purple/pinkish wire

And illumination
Orange wire from the fog lights

Now the issues..
Looks like I may of disabled the DRLs by accident when I spliced into the orange wire.. Bc now when I turn my headlights on in park my side markers come on.
When I put it in gear The drl in the cluster comes on and my headlights work.. (no biggy just cought me off gaurd)

The other thing.. with the 12v location when I connect the wires it goes right past 14v on the gauge which is normal but when I shut the car off it stays there... But heres the kicker. Even when I disconnect the wires it stays in place at the 14 location???? So the gauge is not even connected in the car and it stays at 14 like its frozen?
But when I put them back together the 14 drops to 0 then goes right back up ?

Im just a tad confused maybe its a bad location?

I am really confused here dude. One week you are done and the next you are putting stuff in. I know you explained what your plan was personally but I truly dont get it now

Publicity stunt. Like Jay-Z retiring last year but coming out with a new CD this year. Ken quit modding last week, but started again this week.

Just on a smaller level you see.

That is exactly what it is I was just going to say that i thought you were out of the modding scene? Must of been one last thing you wanted done and already had it sitting around?
None-the-less it looks great

Thanks

Nice work Ken. For your volt gauge location, did you basically just cut the plastic to be just big enough for the gauge to sit tight in there? I may need another gauge location soon, and that looks pretty nice. Did you have to use any sort of fastener or odd item to make it stay put?
