hvac relocate and trim plate
Tuesday, January 16, 2007 8:41 PM
Well i am finishing my lower dash and its glassed and painted, i added a 3.5 inch lcd screen with a dvd player built in with a pioneer deq-7600 under it and a pineer fold out above the 3.5 inch deck in the dash, so i relocated the hvac to the glove box and made a trim plate to make it fit in, and i will glass and paint it but i am trying to think of what i want under the hvac, i thought about cutting a reverse vinyl decal with kicker cut out and frosting the plexi and back lighting it, not sure yet but i should have the pictures up for the finished product in the next week.

why not just make a bracket to hold your HVAC in there, and leave the rest as is... that way you still have a glove box.

^^^Good idea, but he's wanting as less holes as possible i think....do you still have your armrest as a storage bin? If so, do what you're doing, otherwise, i'd make it somehow accesible later on down the road....just my two cents....Goodluck Buddy!
