Because of this
post... I said I'd show a quick how to do b-pillar removal on a request from one j-bod member, so here ya go and ENJOY!
First...
Second... Pull on it, u wont break anything...
Third... Pull out and then upwards.
Finally... Look at the screws, all u gotta do is take em off (dont let it fall inside the door or you'll have to take the door apart to get em) and slowly jiggle the b-pillars out. You'll see what you need to do to jiggle it out. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PULL IT BACKWARDS TOWARDS YOU TOO MUCH OR YOU'LL BREAK THE LOWER PART OF THE B-PILLAR PIECE.

swwweeet. so how do we put the weather stripping back?
Push it back in..

you can only pull the 'weather stipping' rubber material off like that if the windows are done... and if the windows are down i dont know why someone would go through the trouble of taking off our bpillars to get in our cars. ...rather than just reaching in and opening the door themselves.
unless im mistakinga bout the rubber stipping... and if i am, then we're all in trouble!
LOL at the last post... You can only take off the weather stripping when the window is down. Thefts wont even care about the B-pillars if they wanted to break in.

ha, very true..
thank god for an alarm!
actually if you look at it the only way they can pull out the weather stripping is if the windows down.... and it the windows down then they dont need to remove the b pillar. so no this really doesnt exploit a security breach.
actually some cars will have 2 srcrews
also on the sedans , you have to have the full window roll down done on the earlier years to get to the 3rd screw , also having the window down all the way helps on the rear doors also
<3 for this thread! It took me a total of 5mins to pull the one from the junk yard, pull the old one off my car, and put the new one on.
