"All my life I have been trying to figure out who is behind this face of mine"
i did my tails too. used vht nightshade and wetsanded with 2000 grit and then clearcoated them. the sanding and clearing
makes them much shinier (if thats even a word)
Makes me with I had a black/red car, that looks friggen hawt on black/red

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

I just bought a can of VHT Nightshade from Aplusperformance
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
i think the spray on stuff is cheap and requires the perfect set-up before you spray it and it requires sanding and a clear coat for best results.
i had a highly reputable tint shop do mine
and no its tinted on the outside the tint is just THICKER to be able to withstand conditions on the outside of the car
it is worth every penny i think the spray stuff looks cheap up close and i dont like the idea of spray painting my taillights
i would go with tint for sure ive seen it done both ways and it looks way better
VHT Nite Shades only looks good if professionally cleared, believe me. Unless you enjoy the dull look.
The tint film always looks great though, and isn't nearly as permanent! Plus it's guaranteed to be uniform, where Nite Shades is dependent on how well you can operate a spray can.
thanks to everyone that posted.........i ended up going with 1 coat of regular black spraypaint and then clearcoating them
so you used actual spray paint.... not nightshades? hope that works for ya...
Eeek, hope you don't get rear ended, but it looks good.

On an unrelated note, that car is hawt.

ud be suprised.....a lot of light actually goes through
but still, the correct way would be to use some spray tint, whatever works for you though.
