I used to have stickers on my car with Smiley faces on them, but after much ridicule, I removed them. I really did miss them once they were gone, so I decided to add them in elsewhere; something more subtle that I couldn't be mocked for.
I think I found the perfect place.
and with the headlights on
They are nice and bright at night. 2:45 in the afternoon isn't really ideal for taking photos of lights. I sprayed on I believe 4 or 5 layers of VHT and attempted to clear them myself with a rattle can (without wet sanding). I had them on my car like that for awhile, and they were just weren't shiny at all. My friend John (body man by day, defender of Gotham by night) offered to take them into his shop and clear them for me. I'd have been stupid to not take him up on that. He wetsanded them and had them cleared by the painter (Thanks, John!) They look stock on the car, and that's what I like about them.
They do look stock.. Nice job.. I think its the attack of the VHT around here

Yeah that looks nice. My paint guy sprays tails for the people that want that tinted look too. Way he does it is mixes a bit of black paint with clear. Makes it as dark as you want it and spray's it on. Looks like factory.

Yeah, for some reason rattle can clear never seemed to work with Nightshades when I tried it.

if you take a look at his face, you can see random dots. This is where I laid the vht on too think and it puddled. Only this tail did it, and luckily you can't see it that well.
