After deciding not to sell my car afterall, I figured the reason I wasnt too fond of my car anymore is cause of the "flower" wheels. So I decided to go back to chrome. I just wanna see what people think, though I know the majority werent fans of the previous wheels.
I ordered new 22s yesterday, from a company called Gio Wheels. Anyone lookin at getting larger diameter wheels on their Js should seriously look into this company. The wheels I'm running are 20x7 +34mm offset for the front and 22x7.5 +34mm offset for the rear.
Here are the wheels.
I just had to see what chrome looked like on my car since I've never had chrome on my car with this paint scheme, so I borrowed my friends Arelli Ghensu 22s and tried them out.
Here are the old wheels, that the girlfriend now owns.
Opinions everyone? Just wanna hear what people think.

Its quality work, He tubbed out the rear and made new wheel wells and did some custom rear swing arm mods.
.
Love the 22s man
yes chrome!!!! those will look great!
yeah my hood is fine. When the car was in for paint we notched the hinge a bit and now it can go all the way back.
And Laffs, I was trying to sell it but not aggresively. Had a couple offers, but nothing materialized so I decided to keep it and push the '36 back since its going to take a while to build anyway.
Jeff...Okay...WTF man. You didn't tell me you were keeping the car and on top of that getting new rims...You are one crazy mofo buddy!
Honestly, I'm glad to see you're keeping the fire around. You put so much effort into that beast it would have been a sad sight to see it leave your hands.
So are you still going with the '36 still?
Welcome Back....welcome back... welllcome back.
The new wheels look way better, IMO. 22's are very heroic on a j-body. Around here, people would get bamboozled seeing a j-body on 22's.
i like the chrome ones better. How does your hood open that far with out the tips of the hood breakin off???
You're still alive?
WTF....
should be pretty sweet Jeff.
