My Z24 is away for the winter for various reasons, mostly just because its lowered and it has a carbon fiber hood, and I don't feel like risking something happening to it. So i ended up finding this 1985 Cavalier Type-10 (T-10 as I call it) for the winter. I'm curious to see how many people know about such a car because I had never seen/heard of one until I saw this. As far as I know they only made them for 3 years(83-85). I just thought it was different, if you have any input or opinions about the car, feel free. Thanks guys
ps - If for some reason anyone wants to see more pics just let me know.
congrats....thats not a common car, ive only seen a few. there was a type 10 vert for sale locally over the summer. only had like 80k miles on it.
Check out my CARDOMAIN page

***Looking for a BLUE 03+ STOCK cavi wing pm me if ya got one you wanna sell***
I grabbed some emblems of a Type-10 coupe at the junkyard last weekend, kinda a collector thing of sorts.
Before there was Type-R, there was the Type-10, dun dun dun.
Lol, it's about time you posted that beast up! Love the T-10 Scott and how it handles in the snow =D
Thanks for all the comments guys. i think after the winter im gonna finish some body work and get it painted and just hang on to it for an extra car. It was in Tennesee its whole life til about a year ago, and now its in ohio, so thats probably why the body is still in decent shape, it wont neeed much work. And of course, if anyone would wanna buy it, it just takes the right price lol
I still want to see one of these with a turbo eco.
Nice car though.
Those are perfect donor's for LT1 RWD set ups. They make for a nice swap, and sleeper and a half.
The beauty of those are you have so many motor swaps you can do.
LT3 (C20LET/C20DET) or 2.0 OHC Turbo (as they are known)
any GM V6 (3100 3400 Hybrid supercharged, turbo'd, or N/A)
2.2OHV
2.2 OHV TBI
2.O OHV TBI
2.0 OHC FI
2.8 V6
3.1 V6
3.4 V6
I got into a bidding war for this:
Since I can't find one locally, I bought a model. lol.
Other than a Hatch, I want a Wagon to bag
...
Haha that model is sweet. That would be awesome if I could find a model of an 85. I don't really have any plans for this. Just maybe a paint job and then i might just resell it. Make me an offer
something tells me your not near Cincinnati, so im not wasting either of our time. lol.
I'd give a grand if it ran right.
...
Im actually only 3 or 4 hours away from there lol. But for what i paid for it, 1000 would not be quite enough...make another offer and we can work things out haha
1000 is as much as I go for a Cavalier which is only 1 year younger than myself. lol
...
nice ride, lol, and that silver model above is just like mine.
i had a buddy that had the exact same one, but it was tan, and had red pin stripes. i thought it was fugly at the time, but i wish i could get my hands on it now. that was a fun car, and will be a great project! lucky find....enjoy!
hatch - thats the look right there!! just a little lower... nice ride

downlinx wrote:scott, i did a little chop of your car, it isnt much but, i can only do so much with the pic. i would love to get a hi res pic of your car for my collection. in turn for getting this pic is i will virtually tune the car with what you would like on it or what ever, but i would still love a high res pic of your car, you really cant find cars like that in good condition with a good pic on the internet. but here is what i did to the one i have. i painted, lowered, lightly tinted windows, rims.
