its not an ebay turbo i guarantee you that. its a garrett turbo internal parts without the garrett housing. it was assembled in michigan.

That is a ebay turbo (XSPower or SSAC).

i know that by looking at it it doesnt have a name or anything on it but i wanted it not to have the garrett on the compressor housing as i was going to be getting it polished and thought it would be easier to not have to machine that bit off and save me some $. its a garrett turbo but if you think i cheaped out on an ebay turbo so be it as i know i havent.

I hope you didn't pay more than $200 for it.

I know I might sound dumb, but I'm not much into Turbos. I realize $200 for a new turbo is way too f-ing cheap, so what goes wrong on them? Bearing tossed at 500 miles?

SS Autocrap ( Chrome ) ... Turbos are said to be GLUED together not bolted.

Im pretty sure those look like bolts in the pictures he posted. Well, unless some company has figured out how to make glue look-a-like bolts.

im going with the idea that it is a cheap turbo but may be wrong. i really hope not man, the worst thing you can do is buy a cheap ass turbo dude........its just plain wrong. performance wise their junk, and also your gunna get bashed everytime you pop the hood and someone who knows anything about turbo's see's it. but anyhooooo.....if it is a junk one, please get a good one when you get the money together so turboed j's keep a good name. being a owner of a Turbonetics t3/t4 super 57 trim, .63 A/R , i highly doubt its turbonetics. good luck with the install though man, you will love the turbo so much more than the blower gauranteed.
