Powder coated valve cover!!!
Friday, December 22, 2006 10:27 AM
Had valve cover coated at a local shop. Cost $60. Probably a lil to high, but well worth it I think.

And the carbon fiber bezel from CARCUSTOMS. Thanks!!!

Comments welcome.

expensive-VERY, you got hosed man. theres a shop locally here by me that does WHEELS for $15 each (if its raw metal, if you have to dip it due to paint or something its another $10)

quality-very nice, looks flawless. very cool mod, most ppl polish it, i have yet to see a black one on a car.

geez black valve covers are poppin everywhere. jason and i got our valve covers and fuel rails done for $75 each set. $60 is reasonable.

you could spend the money and get this
http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Paint+%26+Accessories&pid=00917288000&vertical=TOOL&subcat=Power+Painting&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes
and start to do powdercoating yourself and save a few bucks here and there
