Ok, since I am snowed in, here's a couple pics from around the yard. I'm still working on getting some more uploaded, as well as taking a few more pics. Haven't had this much snow since '96, and its still snowing as I post this. (all images are thumbnails, click for fullsize)

8:21am Woke up today with no power 9 minutes before I had to start work. First thing I did was call the "bad weather line" to see if they were open. Doubtful since Puget Sound from Everett northward got hit hard. Well, they were closed. 5 day weekend
Power came back on around 11:30, not sure now long it was out, but what I do know is the entire island I live on had no power for a while (~30k people)
9:30am, brushed off some of the snow on my car, its about 6" deep now
1:50pm, 7-ish inches:

I know some of them are blue-ish, the white balance on my camera was having a field day

no kiddin. looks like here but weve got a bit more snow. it curently just turned in to a blizard. theres been 2 wrecks in front of my work in the past hour its kinda funny actually. altho. one of them was a freind. that just gave me a project for my only day off haha. anyways. sweet piks. have fun.

I snapped a few pictures of the snow on my car this past Saturday morning at my parents' house. I took the pictures through two different windows, so they're not the clearest.
We get a lot of snow around here. Knock on wood that it hasn't really snowed much *yet*.

Here's why I'm snowed in... long driveway, slight uphill grade + about a foot of snow (the trees in the background are on the other side of the main road)

I will be in seattle / Tacoma/ Ft. Lewis Washington over x-mas and i don't want to see snow!!! My brother is a liar, all he said it ever does there is just rain. Oh well, maybe when i'm around town i'll see a few of your cars out an about.

Just a little farther north, it was about double what I got (Bellingham/Blaine).
Right now, its too cold right now to snow... a balmy 21 degrees. Anything that does fall will be to dry. I think that's it for a while on the white stuff.

HEY if you up here....I might have to find ya!!!!!! But this morning....traffice on I-5 is compact snow and ice...I-5 is moving about 20 miles an hour...if fact from the monday night football game last night people are still trying to get home! Right now the temp is around 10-14 F.....BTW got another 5 inches over night!

the neat thing is that it is too cold for the road salt to melt the ice, that makes the road super slippy.

i found a conversion site. the temp for you in the U.S. is -28 degree Celsius = -18.4 degree Fahrenheit.
u guys make me laugh... thats not snow... ill have to take some picks here tonight.
The first day of snowfall here we got about 10 inchs in a night. And this morning it was -43*C (windchill included)
I freaking hate it... i dont have my winter beater yet and my 05 eco has a hard time even with the block heater in it. (running synthetic too)

You have to remember the puget sound (washington state) winters are like 45 degrees.....to have 10+ inches of snow and temps down to 8-10 degrees is a big deal for people in a state were the world knows us to get nothing but rain!

Well thank god that its been in the 40 here in Green bay because its been raining for the past 2 days. I dont like the white stuff the damn city thinks if there is snow they have to spread twice as much salt to melt it all.
all and all i really wish i was out of the snow... i snowboard and i like doing that....but the snow can just stay in the mountains. lol.
