Kicker Sponsored Bass Wall
Sunday, November 19, 2006 1:08 AM
Well after a few months working with casey mcfarlin at Kicker I have completed the bass wall build is over besides the fiberglassing, i got a kicker 1500.1 and 3 12 inch dual 4 ohm coil subs, i wanted to do 4 but i didn't have enough room so i sold the 4th. I currently am running the 1500.1 at 1 ohm and 2 400 by 4 channels for the highs, phoenix gold line driver and bass cube and 15 farad stinger cap, with a ohio generator alternator rated at 250 amps at 3,000 rpm,
enjoy.http://

Any q's just ask!

if you hold the power button on a ps2 it goes into low power standby, no need for the switch on the back

Scudz:
the back isnt open it has my phoenix gold tidd-10 and the 2 400 by 4's attached and that blocks off the back of the wall. and the power inverter for the ps2 is under the wall, also i hard wired the switch on the inverter and wired it to a toggle switch in the center console, as for the ps2 the switch in the back is always on.

Considering the enclosure is 9 cubic feet you might hear a little air but its made for a steet/spl set up already tried the microphone and nothing happened it was metered at 157.9 dash and 162.2 above the enclosure. wait til i get the 2500.1 next month!!

Brad:
I have many sponsors mostly its just sendind proposals to the big companies and establishing a relationship with them, sponsors so far:
vertical doors inc
dunlop tires
kinetic batteries
phoenix gold
kicker
stoner car care
steet fx lighting
fx designs
bear
and more to come this year!

Josh:
yah ill try to get a hold of you soon just been real busy and bought a house so i am gutting the whole thing and doing everything over, ill call you assuming that you have the same number.

it's a lot of work brad.. you gotta crete youre car a profile. pictures and everything, and propose to the company basically what you can do for them, and how you can help them. you also ened to give a tentative show list of ashows you'sd be entering in... it's a lot of work

Jason.... Kicker. and cav's = sex lol

and from the looks of it i can tell they are L7's but it seems to be two or three different models either way nothing is different but the cone esign and the basket other then that looks great.. i've talked to casey about my l7 system and everything but no sponsor just yet.. gotta get him numbers on it and as far as the 1500.1.. when its up for sale let me know and i'll gladly get that from you lol...Looks good thought

Nice install man, but why does the kicker logo look like it is cardboard?
Everything else is sweet!

MDLD9: its a specical release to the kicker dealers from like a year ago, its actually a door mat but it was a lot bigger than that so i cut the general design out of it to get it on the wall

N8ball : Its vented in the rear so it fires up the back window and follows the ceiling and over your head, its 9.1 cubic feet, i had it metered at the shop where my friend works and it was a spl meter and i dont know what kind of meter it was.

There is a difference between sponsorship and competitor's pricing. Who is your contact at P.G. (all I need is a first name)? Anyone can give them a proposal to get competitors pricing, sponsorships through P.G. are virtually non existent at this point, and deffinately do not go to "Joe Blow, with a Cavalier, hasn't won World Finals, and doesn't own his own shop." The install is looking good so far though.
