Twisted Metal (FLIPPED)

Yeah, this is my 1998 Z22. She doesn't look too too bad for being flipped on the Northwest Rd. 67 km/hour. 8 days after I got it. I was pissed. There's my dented drivers side qarter.Ractive 4 1/2" straight through with 2 3/8" inlet2200 SFI4 gauge Rockford Fosgate power wire and snake clip (30 A blue)Got a rear window wing made by GTO and rear side window covers. Her good sideFrom afar. This car really took a pounding. For being flipped over and slammed on the roof she doesn't look too bad. Getting ready for next year and getting some serious stereo gear. Time to upgrade up to one Rockford HX2 18" 2000w sub in the trunk.

Please dont put money into that. If you're going to do anything, sell it and buy a new one. I mean, its a base base base model, chances are the engine is on its last legs, and the whole body is trashed. DONT MOD IT!

This car is soo ugly I had to make another post for it....

Ractive 4 1/2" straight through with 2 3/8" inlet = The Definition of HORSEPOWER!

Your "Snake Clip" Should be arround 150a not 30a for 4awg wires.

I wouldnt call any side of that car "Her good side"...........even from "Afar"

U might want to check your head gasket because with that much GRIME under the hood, theres gotta be sumthing F***D up in there.

On one hand I think you should definently not spend that kind of money for an audio system in that POS. On the OTHER hand I think you should, just to pound the car out of its mysery.

Finally, I would rather beat that car with a sledgehammer than drive it.....or even look at it for that matter.

F***in disgrace to this forum.

Why must you all talk so much crap about his car and what he likes? Just because YOU dislike doesn't make him a disgrace, or make people want to beat the car with a hammer and so on. People like you guys are some of the many reasons this forum is really starting to suck. Unless someone posts a car with "the perfect" mods you all talk @!#$ to them, and make them feel like dirt.

Some of you are pathetic.

there is potential with the car. everybody starts somewhere.

remove the fart can, get a real exhaust
remove the vented covers over the window.
remove the stickers
replace the bumpers with painte z24 kit or a bodykit.

as far as the font fender is concerned of the 2 that i ordered i was ver pleased with dealing with this company. one fender was damaged so they sent me a new one. and had it to me in 3 days from calling them.

it was something like bestautobodyparts.com you can find them on ebay but there regular website is sometimes better prices.

if you are going to try and work on this car clean your engine bay and see if you can fix the leak in the head gasket they offer top end gasket kits which runs between 50-75 get that and put all the gaskets in. haynes manuals are your friend for all this work.

OK, I agree it's ONE THING to talk so much crap about a stock car with g*y vinyl graphics down the side, a huge metal spoiler, and frims. That maybe be someones style. BUT THIS A STRAIGHT UP JUNKYARD PEACE OF SH**! Are you BLIND? How can a car such as this have potential? Let's set aside the fact that this might hurt someones feelings and say that HOPEFULLY this might help him by saving himself some hard earned money. DONT MOD IT!

The lines are all straight in the body, so it looks like replacing the hood and fenders, and either banging out the dents in the trunk or replacing that, and all the outside needs is paint.

Now from the pictures, you can not tell what other mechanical problems it has, but for someone planning on modding, who cares if it needs work? You're gonna work on it anyway.

The struts, bearings, and bushings could all be junk on the suspension, and it wouldn't matter if you plan on lowering it and putting good lowering struts anyway.

Some people like to start with a car like this, because you can score it cheap and you're not removing good parts when you're modding it. As long as none of the structure needs repairing, it's fine.

Now as for the taste of what he's done, not my thing. I think the louvers, solar wing, and graffics need to go, but it's his car. If he wants to paint it f*cking polka-dots, let him. Who are we to judge it?
