OK guys my 2.6L stroker is finally done...just waiting on the polishing of my portmatched intake manifold and itll be in the car...so until i can post pics of what it SOUNDS like here are a few pics of the engine from start to finish..inside and out...enjoy
So heres what i started with..a 2.3 quad 4 block..notice how pretty it is
..i had it overbored 0.030"..intalled a 2.4 twin cam crank w/eagle rods and custom forged ross 9.7:1 pistons and some nice ARP studs in the block
and heres the repositioned CPS to make the new crank work
and next i needed a reallyyyy nice head to top it all off
so BIG THANKS to rob longo(spawne32) for hooking me with with an 086 quad head..which i then gave a nice PnP job
after that i installed the SS valves,dual valve springs,and the titanium retainers and keepers

now to keep the fuel coming strong heres the new fuel setup...a venom fuel rail..with 36lb brown top injectors and an accel AFPR

next the timing had to be changed....and lightened
i went from 2.3 double row timing to the 2.4 single row

next i tightend everything down and added the upper dogbone bracket and the light pulley
notice the getrag transmission in the background? ...a 1993 NVG with LSD...spec stageII clutch and fidanza lightweight flywheel
then to top this off im using the upper mount insert,lower dogbone mount and tranny mounts
along with the mantapart w41 EPROM chip with 7500 rpm redline and no speed governor
for exhaust ill be using a 2.5 inch piping and a differnt style cat and until the header is made this is my ported manifold
and once its in and running these upper dogbone mounts will be bolted down solid
well guys..thats about all i got for now..hope you enjoy ..any and all comments are welcome ..especially the ones that help me improve on anything i missed

the plan is to keep it N/A ...if i go with boost itll be on another build...with those pistons and the increased stroke im shooting for about 11:1 compression so no BOOST on THIS engine..but it should still make some really nice numbers..as long as i can get the air fuel set right...any suggestions on what i should set the fuel pressure to start???

ummm , i might be wrong here but
i hope you degreed the cams , i know when karo tried the W41 cams in his car the timing was off
so i dont think the 2.4 stuff will work
plus the 2.3 double roller is a better way to go , and will last longer than the weak single row , and if the springs are overly stiff , it will wear the chain out quicker
