Well I happened to see in the classifieds someone had found rsm stock and underdrive pulleys from rsm for cheap. 30 dollars cheap to be exact. So I took the liberty of buying one to try it out.......Just installed it 30 minutes ago....But won't be able to test it out until the car is all back together ....Well here's a few pics

Let me know if a groove gets worn in on the hub.

There was a post about that on a RSM pulley a couple of months ago

looks good. i picked up the underdrive pulley from him (found him before the classifieds post, but decided to purchase it from him because of the testimonial). hope to put my engine back in this upcoming weekend. btw...i emailed him and asked if it was an RSM one and he said it was a z-spec? maybe he was mistaken or maybe thats just for the underdrive pulley? either way, let us know if you can tell a difference with anything.

Nice find for the money. Just in a couple months check to make sure theres not a groove from were the crank seal rides on the snout of the pulley. I tried to find the pictures from the other trend, but just can no find them. It only seams to happen with old crank pulley seals, that are hardened rubber form age.
CavFire (tabs) RSM and z-spec are the same company.

DON'T SMASH YOUR WOODRUFF KEY! Me and a buddy changed his and we smashed the hell out of it! So now we gotta drop the motor and replace what's left of it. GAH!

How the heck did you smash it? The pulley just slips on and I tightened the bolt.....I had no problems....Key is fine.........

Yeah, how in the hell would you smash the key unless you NEVER lined up the keyway.

Bingo!

Yep...I'm the idiot who did that! Installed the SC on the Eco back in June and did not line the stock pulley back up when swapping from the RKSport one back to stock! Not sure how I missed that one but found it when putting on the light weight one the other day.

I know...I've kick myself in the ass a few times already but you are more than welcome to kick me again as I deserve it! It caught itself and dug a nice pit in the stock one so I don't think anything is hurt other than the key but I've got to get in there and see still. Ordered my gasket and seal for the front engine cover as well as a new key...hope that is all there is.

Just didn't take the time to line it up...didn't notice it, or somthing...STUPID!!

We'll see I guess...

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
