Finish is pretty neat.. but you need some detail on the wheels. Get the lip painted up silver, or something. Get Tuner splinedrive lugnuts with a coloured cap.. anything to add some detail. Looks a little plain. Tireshine is a must, no matter different coloured body panels.

wow those fenders look REALLY out of place.. drop it, kit it, wheels, then the fenders just might blend in....

Re: painted ma wheels

shoulda painted ur drums and calipers black also, would of helped clean things up a bit more, but nice tho

Now for some better ones:

Ok, body kit no. LS Sport lip kit, or maybe a RKSport lip in time.

Fenders shall be painted once I get my credit card paid off a little more.

lowering comes after winter I hope. (I was set back with so many different things this year, like wheel bearings, battery, death, dead home computer, ect. lol)

And I freakin ran outta tire shine yesterday. I was pretty upset because I was cleaning it up for a show, get there to put on my tire shine, and the can was about done for.

But I just felt like changing the looks of the wheels a bit. Nothing flashy, but nothing dual and plain looking.

O

first thing I thought when I saw that .The dark rims make the rusty drums stick out like a sore thumb.

I'd also second the notion of adding some detail. I'd sand down the lip and maybe clear it.

BTW, seeing that you painted your weights, next time you have your wheels balanced, there will be silver spots left.

Looks like a decent job painting, though.

it needs new drums anyways, and slotted rotors to come as well.

and the wheels are getting new goodyears soon, so they are going to be rebalanced. And hopefully this time, they'll use the sticky weights instead of the lip weights.

i cant believe you have paid that much for fenders and a hood when your car has primer on it and its not lowered

bondo?

what bondo?

and yeah. It needs painted, but when you only bring home $600 every other week. And you have to put a majority of that to bills, food and gas, you are not really left with much to put back for painting the car, buying suspension, or having other goodies like that.

i think they're refering to the red area on the right rear 1/4 by the gas door. i must agree that i think the fenders would have looked better if you had more done, but i also completely understand the tight money situation. idk what color you're planning to go with, but i'm definitely a bigger fan of that dark blue on your front bumper. either way, good luck with your plans. hope you don't get help back as much in the spring.

when you get your fenders painted, just do something like this. I didn;t make the bumper black, but it should be. I know its pretty ghetto. I used paint. This would probably be about the same price as getting the fenders painted, and it would make the carbon flow a little better with the blue. I think some blue lugs would look pretty hot with the wheels. BTW your sig is awesome.

im only painting part of them. In a way that when the masking is pulled off, it will reveal a c/f graphic or design.

thanks for the "your sig is awesome" comment. lol

and whats wrong with the bronze lugs? oh wait.... its different. Sorry, thought I was somewhere that had individuality. my bad.

need I say it again?

who are your to tell me, or anyone what MY first mod should have been?

I mean, if you were funding my car, than ok, I can understand that. But your not.

As far as my suspension, I want something thats going to suite me.

Gravana coil overs/Tien SS is what I really want, but I don't have $1200 to blow on suspension. So why not to the little mods first? Even if I went a step down, and bought Sportlines/Koni Yellows or Tein Basics its still $800-900 that I DON'T HAVE!

the post wasn't in-tittled "lets bash me for not having my car in top show condition". It was just sharing my black painted Z24 wheels.

You should have left the car stock if you cant afford to mod it. your making it look worse, while losing money... doesnt make much sense..

just not feelin it,i say sell the 4dr n try a 2dr i think u could pull it off than, theres very few 4 do0rs that lo0k go0d w/ agressive kits and what not, james has the only 4do0r that i like..... the carbon fiber just sections off ur car to0m much....just my 2 cents,go0d luck tho
Re: painted ma wheels

whats so aggressive about my car?

Clean OEM lines. No flash, no bling, no body kit.

And what kind of comment is that? You should of left the car stock if you can't afford to mod it?

I can afford little things. I just can't afford all the stuff I want at once. So I piece it together. I bought the car for $1500 including a newier 2.4 droped in.

Most of my mods are to help the car's performance. Header, cat, catback, motor mounts, strut bars, ect.

I just don't understand why 90% of the org focus on how a car looks. Opposed to how it functions.

Im tring to work up to a clean, suttle look.

at least its not APC stickers, tire flys, and dry hose intakes, with cut springs on stock struts.

Hey man, don't worry about it. Not any persons car on this site went from stock to show car in one day. or even one month for matter. Just take your time buying the stuff that you want whenever you get the cash flow. I think they are more or less just trying to tell you to not buy the stuff that you dont really want just because you cant afford what you do want. In the end, that would just be a waste of money. And the car doesnt have to be dropped ASAP so maybe just start saving for the setup you want. Good work so far and I know that you have a picture in your head of what it will look like when its finished so dont let their opinions affect your goals.
