I opened it up and saw a bunch of this stuff wrapped in bubble wrap. What is it?
I took a few pics from farther away. I think it might just be my new hood!
As a side note: don't order anything through andysautosport.com customer service is horrible, and this order was placed on July 23. After numerous delivery dates were given to me, I was informed that ViS hadn't even made the hood yet, since they were out of stock. but there's a thread on that in General.

well i will be honest. i ordered a hood threw a local shop from vis, and same deal, literally 2 months went by were vis was telling them it was shipped, and nothing, and then all the sudden they havnt made it yet, yada yada yada, well yes, it seems to be vis's fault from other people i have spoken too.
sounds like warranty replacements through Sabian Cymbals... took 5 months to get a 16 inch AAXplosion china replaced that cracked within 4 months of buying it new... and when they finaly stopped the BS stories, and made and shipped me one out, it was WRONG (i had natural finish on the one i sent in, they sent me brilliant).
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Keep bothering them. Call every few days. Plus, if you've paid, you can always hold FTC regulations over their head. There's a rule about reasonable wait on items already paid for.
Yea I paid in full on May 20th! Where can I find the FTC regulations?
