I still have to put a few coats of bondo for it to be done, and finish the bottom side of the dash on the drivers side. Ive been working on it for 2 weeks, to get all the edges perfect, its going to be perfect! im being a perfectionist!!!
I just bought a 7" Clarion monitor that will be sunk flesh in the center council, same with a few digital gauges.
Sorry for pics. being so dark, just bought a new camera and either it just sucks, or an adjustment is out of wack.
heres the pics. Let me know...
you better not still have the stock cluster in there..
borrow another camera
"Boost tuning"....... have you had your 8 PSI today?
future name of the winter shop!!!
Is them middle section supposed to sink down like that? It looks so lop sided and poorly executed. The custer looks like it has a point on the top....Ill wait to say more when its complete, but im not feeling it at this point.

yes it all is suppose to sink down, it has some aggressive but yet smooth angles
I figured you'd want it to look like one big piece not three pieces... Illusion is the devil
I know that's a TIHS ton of work, but it doesn’t look half finished. The edge that meets the window should run smoothly all the way across with an even gap. Around the cluster looks nowhere near stellar. Where the pieces meet on each side look non-symmetrical and just looking at each side they look to be different heights all along where the pieces meet. A lot of work needs to be done to get this to be show material. I know there’s a lot of ICE going in that may cover some of these areas but don’t give that a reason to skip over. I’m just pointing out the obvious things that I can see in these pics so you can correct them before it goes to the booth, which I'm sure you already had on the list to do. Good work this far though. Keep it up because custom work is the best to watch progress on. Especially fiberglassing.
I like the contours going down into the center console. Looks good so far.

Can't wait to see the final product. You'll have to bring it up to Advance so I can see it...
Not to be an English teacher, but I gotta.
flesh = flush
coucil = console
Anywho, I think the dash looks sweet, and if anyone gives you grief about it not being perfect, then thats just because you've made a name for yourself here and we tend to have high expectations, cuz I guarantee if you were Joe Noname from the sticks and you busted out with pics like these, people would be loving it up on here. So take the criticism with a grain of salt mang, because yes its not perfect, but the idea is still cool and for the most part executed nicely. So keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing it done.

John Piparo- thanks professor john ha ha!. i hear what u mean about high expectations.
the dash will be perfect, its going to take me another month at least of hard work. Im doing everything in the interior absolutely perfect. Thats my goal is to have a perfect interior, meaning gaps, seams, ect.

GOOD! I can't wait to see the final product!
i love how you do so much custom work... and for the most part it all comes out looking good (im sure we're all still going to gripe about the fenders not lining up lol)... but as far as the interior goes..... and i KNOW you do your own work so you dont spend a ton of money BUT STILL... you are doing car shows and getting into mags and what not SAVE SOME MONEY AND PENNY UP FOR SOME BETTER GEAR, seeing those subs/amps you had (that i hope to god you replaced), and seeing you do all this custom dash work to still keep the STOCK cluster... icky... takes the over all sexiness of the 1-off custom things you have done and cheapens it.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn
i thought this car was getting sold? am i remembering incorrectly?
