Well i bought a header off Darkstars, sandblasted it today for 2 hrs. Came home started tearing into it. got it installed, drove around for a while with it, uncapped. i need a cutout bad LOL. Got the rest put together, used stainless bolts so i can take it apart easily when im at the track. The header is a 4-2-1 Weapon R. When it cools down, im going to rub anti-sieze all over it to give it a silver color. Now here is where people start bashing it. No its not a cheap hide away cover. It really works, and it keeps it silver. Also it rust proofs it. If its good enough for my dads 71 camaro that just took top 3 in his class at super chevy, then its good enough for me. I plan to do it to the rest of my exhaust as well. On to the pics...

Why would you want to run an open header at the track? I think it'll hurt you unless you're F/I or have one hell of a built engine.

Thats not painted, its just sandblasted is all. NOTHING MORE.

Here are the pics with antisieze rubbed all over the header. Like i said call it cheap or what not but its works and looks pretty damn good. And its inexpensive.
